I’ve been noticing a lot of animations being uploaded recently and wanted to let you know about a contest that’s specifically calling for entries of the animated persuasion.

We here at Zooppa were really entertained by all of the videos submitted to the Cold Shower Challenge. One video really stood out to us because of its originality and hilarity. Although he didn’t win for his video, The Cold Task, we really wanted to talk to Destin777 and see what he’s about.

I just shot something and I planned it well. I’d like to talk about shooting efficiency in this week’s post. I once took a class that took you through the process of setting up a shoot. You have to take a bunch of things into consideration like time of day, how long you have our actors, location and props.

You guys know that web site Amazon.com right? The place where you buy, sell, buy, sell and buy and sell? That seems to be all Amazon does, right? Well I hate to shatter your mind but the company is reaching out to film makers and script writers who have the talent and the drive to make the next great movie with Amazon Studio’s new film and script contest.

Zooppa’s contest with THE WEEK ends…in…well….2 weeks (and 2 days). Who’s counting down? We are! Good submissions thus far but we hope to get a lot more. Here are some of my favorites in no particular order: Keep on filming! See ya soon!

The Buick NCAA Human Highlight Reel has been one of our most prestigious contests to date. It’s been a pleasure watching all of the entries in this contest. We here at ZOOPPA have viewed all of them multiple times and are amazed at the quality of every piece.
