There has been a clear and obvious shift in small and midsized business marketing. Within a couple of years, advertising on TV or print (which was the only way to market before) will no longer be able to reach mass audiences. This is all because millenials have a completely new understanding of social media, a native understanding that baby boomers have a tough time getting a grasp of.

The time to embrace video is right now. Social video is exploding in the business world and companies have all created their own social video channel. Twitter has Periscope, Amazon has Twitch, Facebook has Facebook Live, and Google has YouTube. Although video has always been powerful in the marketing industry, it’s all about whether or not you’re using video correctly. Figuring out how to utilize video correctly is what boosts your company’s ROI and engagement. Millennials are the largest segment of the USA workforce and thus, it only makes sense for SMBs to cater to them.
