Please Read: Updates to Zooppa Policies

0 Flares 0 Flares ×

Zooppers,

Zooppa is updating some of its policies that govern how our website is used and how contests and awards are handled.

This is an important update that affects all who will participate in future projects on Zooppa, so please review before uploading your next entry.

These policy updates standardize language concerning copyright and intellectual property – language that has been regularly requested by clients and already featured in many recent campaigns on Zooppa. The aim of these updates is to conform the way the competitions are conducted on Zooppa, and reduce confusion around how submissions are handled and awarded going forward.

Highlights of the changes are as follows:

  • By submitting an Entry into a Competition, Community Member assigns title to the Entry to the Sponsor of the contest
  • Zooppa Community Members have the right to display the Entry in his/her portfolio of professional work.
  • Zooppa has the right to display the Entry on Zooppa’s website
  • All clearances are required at the time of submission

Please take the time to check out the full text of Zooppa’s revised Terms of UsePrivacy PolicyMember Obligations, and Submission Agreement. If you have any questions about the terms or the changes, please email us at support@zooppa.com.

  1. hmmmm…@ By submitting an Entry into a Competition, Community Member assigns title to the Entry to the Sponsor of the contest..
For all contests now? ….Regardless of if i win a prize or not ….. hmmmm….These contests seem to keep favoring brands more and more each day at the expense of the creators…
personally gonna be very picky about what contests i do now.
There’s only so much “passion” and “expanding your portfolio” can motivate you..
Knowing that some brand owns your work regardless of if they pay for it or not still does not sit well with me….
