Seattle-based Zooppa adds television/film production veteran  

SEATTLE, WA, October 7, 2011 – Zooppa, the world’s leading source of user-generated advertising, announced last week that television and film veteran Jessica L. Carter has joined the company as manager of partner programs.

Carter will be responsible for expanding the company’s partner network.

“Jessie brings a wealth of talent, creativity and contacts in the film and television industry,” said Wil Merritt, CEO, Zooppa. “These attributes, combined with the talent of our community of film makers will bring even more value to the brands looking for the new generation of advertising effectiveness.”

Prior to joining Zooppa, Carter recruited new clients and talent – and managed social media – for Subversionz Media. Carter has helped with casting on The Voice, Nancy Grace’s Swift Justice, and America’s Got Talent and continues freelance producing for such clients as Bank of America, Microsoft, and Amazon. Prior to moving to Seattle, Carter worked as an entertainment anchor for TV 26 on Charter Communications, Malibu and worked as the story editor’s assistant at Phoenix Pictures in Los Angeles.

“Zooppa is doing some really exciting, creative and important work – both in terms of the output and in energizing and enabling a new generation of film makers,” said Carter. “I jumped at the chance to join this innovative venture.”

Carter received a Bachelor of Arts, Theatre and Television, from Pepperdine University.
