Uh oh. Looks like the YouTube sensation “Catvertising” is being accused of being a rip-off of the previously posted video, “Kittywood.” Is it a mere coincidence that viral phenomenon is based off the same concept of kitty domination? Viewers have hashed over the similarities and differences, but when it comes down to the kitty-gritty, the premise of “Catvertising” is shadily similar to “Kittywood.”
As a kitty-crazed fan, I can only give my humble opinion as to which video is better. Sorry “Catvertising,” but “Kittywood” wins this round. Originality is key when it comes to viral sensations. “Kittywood” is clever, unique and hilarious (even with the finest of details). Anyone notice the empty Jack Daniels bottle at the staff meeting? Or the kitty pillars planted in the front of the studio building?
Watch and enjoy.
