I didn’t know it was possible for a movie to evoke every single emotion possible in ninety minutes but Life in a Day by Kevin Macdonald defied the odds. I laughed. I cried. I gasped in horror. I was angry. And after watching this piece I was left almost speechless.
What makes it so compelling? The fact that it’s so ordinary. It digs deep into the basics of human nature and leaves the viewer with a sense of better understanding humanity by using homemade video clips from all around the world.
