Meet the Pause to Support a Cause Jury Panel

As you all know, there are some amazing Jury Prizes up for grabs by winners of the CMO Council Pause to Support a Cause Competition. What you may not know, is that the Jury is made up social media and marketing thought leaders in both industry and academia. We are really excited to have all of them on board, and would like to take a moment to introduce you to them.

Keith Adler is the Director of Graduate Studies, Michigan State University, College of Communication Arts and Sciences. He is currently focusing his research efforts in two areas: school communication and branding as it relates to agricultural products. In addition to teaching, Adler is a frequent consultant to schools. He has been a research consultant for health care branding, and still produces campaigns for various clients.

Chris Brogan is President, New Marketing Labs, a new media marketing agency. He is Co-Author of New York Times Best-Seller Trust Agents. Brogan is an eleven year veteran of using social media and both web and mobile technologies to build digital relationships for businesses, organizations, and individuals. He speaks, blogs, writes articles, and makes media of all kinds at chrisbrogan.com, a blog in the top 5 of the Advertising Age Power 150, and in the top 100 on Technorati.

Jeffrey Hayzlett is Chief Marketing Officer and Vice President, Eastman Kodak Company. As CMO, Hayzlett is responsible for the company’s worldwide marketing operations. He serves on the advisory board for the CMO Council, and frequently speaks around the world on business growth, communications, and marketing.

Kristen O’Hara is Senior Vice President and Managing Director, Time Warner Digital Media Group, leading its Marketing, Sales, and Insights & Innovation teams since 2004. She is also on the advisory board for the CMO Council.

Chris Pirillo is CEO, Lockergnome, Video Producer and Creator of Gnomedex. Pirillo has been participating in Internet conversations since 1992, having launched Lockergnome.com as a content publishing network and building Gnomedex to be one of the blogosphere’s highly regarded conferences. He publishes a personal blog and lifecast to tens of thousands of viewers, and is a top subscribed partner on YouTube. When searching Google for “Chris,” his site is listed as the top hit. Chris also produces weekly video segments for CNN.com Live, where he offers tech advice to a savvy audience.

Chris Stephenson is Chief Marketing Officer, Interscope // Geffen // A&M at Universal Music. Prior to his position as CMO at Universal, Stephenson GM Marketing at Microsoft Zune.

Charlie Todd, Founder of Improv Everywhere. Improv Everywhere causes scenes of chaos and joy in public places. Created in August of 2001, Improv Everywhere has executed over 100 missions involving tens of thousands of undercover agents. The group is based in New York City. In addition to his role in Improv Everywhere, Todd also teaches and performs with renowned New York City comedy theater, Upright Citizens Brigade.

Sandra Zoratti, Vice President, Global Marketing Solutions at InfoPrint Solutions Company, a joint venture of IBM and Ricoh. Zoratti is responsible for strategic marketing planning, key account relationships, and new business development at InfoPrint. Zoratti also sits on the advisory board of the CMO Council.

Eric Lent, Vice President, Global Marketing Excellence and Strategy at The Hershey Company. Prior to his position at Hershey’s, Lent worked in consumer brand marketing with Eastman Kodak and S.C. Johnson.

Christine Heckart, General Manager of Marketing for the TV, Video & Music Business at Microsoft Corporation. In this capacity, Heckart is responsible for the global marketing, product and partnership management for Microsoft Mediaroom, Windows Media Center and Zune, where she is instrumental in developing and executing Microsoft’s connected entertainment strategy. Heckart also sits on the advisory board of the CMO Coucil.
